![]() How much more awesome can you get? I previously held the fight against Tela Vasir as the greatest boss fight in the ME franchise, but Clone!Shepard surpasses her in every way. (Warning: HUGE HUGE SPOILERS, don't read inside the tag if you haven't played Citadel yet)Ĭome on, you fight against a frikking CLONE of Shepard. Number 2: The Final boss of the Citadel DLC in Mass Effect 3. The music, ambience, and voice-acting made it for one wonderful spectacle of awesome that made it feel like every boss battle should be. This is a boss that mixes elements of every other boss fight in the game, which you have to defeat in rapid succession without breaks, while exploiting the enemy elemental weaknesses without letting him exploit yours (or your party's). Rule of Cool is fully, and MASTERFULLY in effect here. Even if it had waaaaaay too many Quicktime Events, they were so cool, I didn't cared. The absurdity, and over-the-top insane action on this fight made it leave a lasting impact on my memory as one damn good boss fight. Starts with a sword duel (With the boss having dual lightsabers for whatever reason) then goes to the protagonist slicing buildings in half and flying through the air, DBZ style, chasing a mothership in space (said mothership is also part dragon) and ending facing the boss with your best friend inside a blackhole. The boss was way too easy, but the aesthetics of the fight were so over-the-top this was one heck of boss fight. The actual mechanics of the fight were also pretty cool, and the music during it was equally top-notch. ![]() On a setting were being a mage is like being a lepper, defeating the Arishok makes you a hero and a noble. Plus once you defeat him, you are crowned Champion of Kirkwall, and become one of the very few Truly Free mages in the world. Mages are weak against melee, the Arishok comes from a culture that demonizes mages and considers them filth just above animals, and the whole fight is a one-on-one duel between you and him. Double-points if done as a mage, for many reasons. ![]() Not only its the only fight actually HARD in that game, the way its set up to be felt pretty awesome. Here's my Top 5 Most Memorable bosses of all the time. I feel that MMO bosses in particular are a WHOLE different beast than single-player bosses, for a myriad of reasons. You can mention as many bosses as you like (Such as your top 5) but when listing bosses, do separate lists for Single-player bosses, and bosses from Multiplayer games (Like MMOs). Was it due to its difficulty? Impressive epic scope? Stunning visuals?įor more recent games (Anything released this year and the latter half of last year) please use spoiler tags, we don't wanna ruin surprises for other people. Be specific, list the boss' name, what game they're from, and why they left a mark on your memory. This question is simple, what boss (or bosses) in videogames have been truly memorable to you, and why. #344: Which is your most memorable boss battle in a videogame?
